Advanced Process Controls (APC) was started by Eric Buskirk and Camden Nickell, two former college roommates who wanted to bring quality and affordable solutions to water and wastewater operators. Eric and Camden both hold degrees in Industrial Electrical Technology and are trained in PLC/SCADA programming along with relay logic and industrial wiring.
Noticing the lack of resources in smaller communities while working as a licensed wastewater operator out of high school, Eric furthered his education to offer solutions to the local community and surrounding municipalities. Eric has 8 years of experience in the wastewater field and more than 5 years working in the industrial/instrumentation field, including residential and industrial wiring.
Camden, who cofounded the company, shares the same goal of helping operators while also doing his part to improve the environment. He has over 5 years of experience working in the commercial and industrial electrical field.
